Aprendo a hablar español
I was browsin thru torrent sites to download psp game torrents (yeah, I promote piracy. Sue me!) when I ran across this one called “My Spanish Coach”. It got me quite interested as to what it was about so I downloaded it. I thought it was sort of a football/soccer game since them spanish love their soccer. I was surprised to know that it was actually a tutorial on how to speak spanish. I’ve been wanting to learn spanish since I was a kid, but by just merely having to learn thru books didn’t do me good. It bored the hell out of me.
It’s been 3 days since I started studying spanish, and I think I’m doing quite well. I’ve only finished 27 lessons… out of 990! Hopefully I’ll still find time to squeeze the tutorials in my busy sched coz the second sem just started. I wish I’d discovered this weeks ago when I was on sembreak. But no biggie.
Spanish isn’t as complicated as it seems. It’s actually pretty simple really. The only thing that kinda puzzled me were the verbs. For example; if you were to say I WILL GO TO THE MALL TOMORROW, you’d say Voy al centro commercial mañana (I’m not even sure if this is correct). But if you were to say THEY WILL GO TO THE MALL TOMORROW, you’d say Van al centro commercial mañana. Seems simple enough ,right? What I don’t get is that why wasn’t “Yo” and “Ellos/Ellas” put in there? Since Yo means I and Ellos/Ellas means them (for mas. and fem.)? And another thing for example is when you say you’re going to the store tomorrow to buy apples. You’d say Voy al a tienda a compra las manzanas. But if you say We’re going to the store to buy apples, you’d say Van al tienda a compran las manzanas. I dunno if I’m making sense here, but still!
Puedo hablarito español ahora. Haha
Quiero un apple notebook para Navidad. Haha again.
I don’t know if those are correct, but if you know spanish, you’d get the point!
